How many Mentors are there?

At PRGRSS, we pride ourselves on having a diverse and extensive network of mentors. Currently, we have hundreds of mentors from various professional backgrounds including technology, finance, law, creative industries, media, and many more. This diverse pool of mentors ensures that our mentees receive a well-rounded and comprehensive support system to help them thrive in their respective fields

What will happen at the calls?

Mentors and mentees engage in 12-minute calls designed to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. During these calls, mentees have the opportunity to discuss their goals, challenges, and aspirations with their mentors. Mentors provide valuable insights, guidance, and advice based on their expertise and experience in their respective fields. These calls serve as a platform for mentees to seek personalised support, gain clarity, and receive actionable steps to progress towards their goals. Additionally, mentors may offer resources, share relevant experiences, and help mentees navigate professional development opportunities. How are the mentors and mentees matched?

The matching process at PRGRSS is carefully curated to ensure compatibility and mutual benefit between mentors and mentees. We employ a multi-step approach:

How does safeguarding work?

Only individuals over the age of 18 can use the service.
All messages and calls made through the app are recorded for quality and security purposes.
If you encounter any issues, you can report them directly through the app for assistance.
You can communicate directly within the app through our messaging and calling features.

How are the mentees selected?

Global Purpose Enterprise exists to level up diverse and Black talent and have a history of attracting young people across the UK and internationally. This app exists to amplify the impact we’ve already made.

How long do mentors commit to the app?

We understand that mentors are time-starved and this is one of the reasons why we have 12-minute video calls. However, we ask that all mentors commit 1 hour a year.
